4th gen garage clearout

Post by lxstuart » Sat Sep 05, 2015 10:08 pm

It's time to sell a few bits, unless stated all of this has come from my 1992 JDM import BA8 2.2 non-VTEC 4th gen.
Prices don't include postage, though I will be at JAE and can bring small items.

In no particular order.....bum

I can't remember where this came from, or what it grips on to, but it's in good condition

£2.50

Image

Set of 4 locking wheel nuts, with 1 undoee tool. They're not particularly shiny, but they're functional.

£5

Image

A relay of some sort, it used to live behind the front bumper in the middle. No idea what it does, and thus no idea if it works, though I have a feeling it may be something to do with the cornering lights (don't know why I'm thinking that though).
The tab on one side has broken off, I had it cable tied onto the front panel and it seemed happy there.

SOLD

P39 ECU for a 4th gen manual F22B with no traction control or ABS stuff. Comes with plugs and a hunk of wiring if required, plus a little pink thing that is taped to the loom.

£50

O2 lambda sensor, possibly a generic one by the looks of things, soldered (I presume) onto a OEM plug.

£20

Image

Battery holder/tray/bed thing. OK condition I guess, but a little scraped on the inside bottom, and starting to rust a little on the outside bottom.

£5

Image
Image

Rubber seal/strip for the front underside of the bonnet. No tears or splits that I could see, this is only a couple of years old, I got a new one from Honda when I put the car back on the road.
Comes with all 21 of the little clip things.

SOLD

Toad Ai 606 alarm immobiliser.
I'm selling this as incomplete, as I'm not 100% sure that everything is here. It definitely includes the alarm computer box thingy in its metal security housing, the two interior sensors, the siren (wiring was cut from engine bay to take the siren out), lots of wires, 1 remote fob (not in the picture for some reason. Type "toad alarm fob" into google images, it looks like the first picture, the dark green one with the 4 buttons. Although the white symbols have pretty much worn of my one).
I would only recommend buying this if you really do know what you're doing. I can get more pictures if necessary.

£30

Passenger side door hadle trim/window switch.
Pretty good condition, no cracks or splits that I could see.

SOLD

Image
Image
Image

Rear exhaust section.
Its a stainless steel jobby, with "Custom Chrome Racing" at the rear of the silencer. The tip of the exhaust comes away at an angle (intentionaly) and the top half is covered in melted bumper. I'm pretty sure this would come off with some elbow grease, just a shame I didn't have any in the garage when I was taking the pictures.
It is a slip joint, rather than a bolt on, and comes with an exhaust clamp (which has seen better days, but is perfectly serviceable).

£30

JDM digital AC heater controls.
In rather good condition, worked fine before I removed it. Comes with plugs and a bit of wire.

SOLD

Image
Image
Image

Rear "Prelude" light.
As far as I'm concerned, this should work fine, though it never did in my car. It's in excellent condition, and the bulbs are working, so I can only assume that the other end of the wiring loom wasn't hooked up to anything (which would make sense, as I had a 3rd brake light on my rear spoiler).
This includes the light itself, the rear cover, the bulbs and the rear roof trim section.
I believe the front section of the roof trim is normal, but if the buyer wants it, I'm happy to include it.

SOLD

Rear speaker grills, with Kenwood KFC-1666 130w speakers.
The covers are pretty faded, not sure how easy it would be to dye them. Speakers screwed straight into the OEM holes, and they're not particularly visible once installed.
On one of the speakers, the tab for the positive terminal has snapped. I had it taped in place, doesn't affect performance.

£30

Alternator.
Was working fine when I removed it. The numbers CJP78 and 10 02 11 - 8770 are on the sticker.

£25

Pair of pre facelift black 1 piece headlights.
Passenger side is in fair condition, one of the locating lugs on the outer edge has snapped off (unlikely to make any difference, and not noticeable when fitted) and the metal brackets on the inside edge are somewhat corroded.
Drivers side is reasonable condition, both of the locating lugs on the outside edge have snapped off (not noticeable when fitted), metal brackets on inside edge are corroded. There is a small amount of cracking on the outer edge of the lens, which doesn't appear to let any moisture into the light. There is a small amount of laquer peel in the area between the sidelight and the dipped beam. Also a small section of the rubber seal around the edge has started to come away, I'm sure you could stick this down somehow.
I think there are bulbs still inside, if so they're included. Don't expect them to be anything fancy (if they even work )

£30

Headlight also don't include....

Headlight dust covers.
I'm listing these separately, because I think that may well be more usefull to people.
They're all in pretty good nick, no cuts or tears.

£3 each

Image
Image

Pair of front indicators.
Amber lens has been removed, as I was using these as sidelights, so you will need amber bulbs if you want to use these as indicators.
One of them (can't remember which side is which,) has a small crack near the edge of the lens. I don't recall it ever letting any moisture in.
Includes the bulb holders, and the plugs with some wire.

£25

Image

Pair of amber front indicators.
In fair condition, one of them (passenger side I think) has a small crack and a chip off the corner of the lens.
Doesn't come with any bulb holders.

£10

Image
Image
Image
Image

Pair of JDM cornering lights.
In fairly good condition, drivers side has some hairline cracks in the grey plastic housing (shouldn't affect anything). Comes with the bulb holders and plugs, and two screws (although one is longer than the other for some reason).

SOLD

Image
Image
Image

A pair of front brake discs.
These are 282mm discs, to fit a VTEC or 2.3 Prelude. These went on the car after the first repair, so have been used for ~18 months.
There seems to be a slight lip on the inside edge of both discs (which suggests to me that it is normal) and some surface rust.
Genuine Honda discs, cost £50.16 each when new.

£40

Image

Pair front calipers and carriers.
These are to fit VTEC or 2.3 Ludes. These are refurbed calipers from Brakes International, they were painted with high temperature paint before they went on the car (~18 months ago), which imo hasn't lasted that well, especially on the carriers.
All seals looked good, and piston moved smoothly when I removed the calipers.
Comes with Honda pads shown in pictures.

£50

Pair of Rear calipers and carriers
To the best of my knowledge, rear calipers are the same on all sepcs of 4th gen.
These are refurbed calipers from Brakes International, they were painted with high temperature paint before they went on the car (~18 months ago), which imo hasn't lasted that well, especially on the carriers.
All seals looked good, and piston wound in smoothly when I removed the calipers.
Covers for the handbrake mech are present and in good condition.
Comes with the Honda pads shown, and the clips to hold the handbrake cables in place.

SOLD

Image

Image

Pair of front calipers and carriers.
These came from a Del Sol SiR, and work on a 262mm disc. I dont think these would fit on a Lude, but should be fine on any EG or EK civic (I think, check before you buy).
These were taken off the car at least 5 years ago. They worked fine when removed, but they have been sat in my garage ever since.

£30

Image

Hand brake cable.
Brand new drivers side Blueprint handbrake cable for a pre facelift 4th gen.
Has been out of the packet and almost installed, but wasn't (place sent me 2 drivers side cables, rather than 1 of each. As it was only the drivers side that had siezed, I never got around to sending it back)

£10

Image

There is more stuff to come, and I will update when I have pictures etc.

Expect items such as;

F22B Dizzy
Wind deflectors
Spacesave spare
OEM spoiler with brakelight
JDM folding mirrors
Possibly a set of wheels

but please don't contact me about these until I properly add them to the sale listing.

Thanks for looking.
