Nice. You can maybe enlighten me on a couple of things:

You mentioned a while back that Puski helped you out with the speedo needle illumination - I couldn't find that post, can you tell me what was the story?

Also yours is the only car I've seen featured in the forum that's similar spec as mine, i.e. automatic. If you get a chance someday, maybe you'd let me know the part number of your cruise control module. It's the silver box up under the steering wheel held in place by two 10mm bolts. It'll be SS0-36700-xx it's the xx I'm interest in.

Reason being that your car is a UK spec, so the cruise control will set at more than 60mph, whereas mine being JDM the cruise won't set higher than that.

I've been looking for a cruise module like yours for ages, tried loads, but none work. I just need to know the exact part number to look for.

No rush, whenever you get a chance and fancy getting upside down in your footwell with a torch!

Cheers!

Andy

@alinton. Hi Andy, here's the link to a thread where I'd been asking about the speedo. Pushki kindly posted his remedy. It's a pretty quick fix and has solved my problem. :)

I'm popping down to see Jason later on today so as I'm a bit unsure what I'm looking for regarding the Cruise control thingy, I'll ask his advice and reply to you later. ;)

Interior update continued from yesterday

Apologies for the backwards and forwards. The connection was lousy last night.

Here's the cruise/sunroof lights (Sorry about the quality)

No more Braille fumbling for the leccy window switch. It's ace.

The spotlight/foglight switch.

So, now my interior looks lovely in the daylight and lit up light a grotto at night. :D

How does one make the window switch light up? And the other buttons?

@alinton, Well mate. I call my mechanic, he comes to my office, collects my car, he delivers it to my house in the evening, I give him money and he's worked his voodoo to make things better. :D
That's how I do it but then, I'm most hopeless person in the world to ask. I can\t even hold a screwdriver the right way round mate. It's the other guys here you need to ask on the technical stuff but from what Jason (my mechanic) said, it was just a case of replacing blown bulbs.

Ah I'll have to have a look at mine, see what type of bulbs they are. I didn't know they lit up, or the sunroof button.

See, I'm learning from your thread! :)

The light up drivers window switch is an option, so not all ludes have it.

@Simonc
@vtecmec

Well I never, I took my window control assy out and there is a bulb holder there, with a dead bulb.

I'm gonna swap that wedge bulb for an LED, I'll post pics when it's done.

I also investigated the cruise and roof switches, similarly blown bulbs. But they'd be difficult to LEDise, so I went to the Honda dealers today and they were uncommonly helpful.

Bulbs on order.

Whoo hoo! Good for you Andy. ;) By the way, couldn't make it to Jason's place yesterday but as I've got a relatively free afternoon, I'll have a scrat around in the footwell and see if I can find that number.

Thanks Simon, it's on a label on one of the big sides of the box. You'll know which box it is, it's directly under the steering wheel with the connector towards the rear of the car.

No probs, no hassle and no rush.
