Unless someone else has tried it and wants to chime in, I tried a G01 ECU in my G00 ECU'd car and it threw a CEL light. I didn't drive it to check whether it throws it into limp mode or not.
Like I said, I'll try and find the source of the G00 code remap and see if he still does them and whether the G01 is available. Bit of a longshot as that was years ago!

Bit of help needed if possible please.
Bought a spoon chip off here good 6 months ago. Not got round to fitting yet and we have a bit of a query. We have a track car that is JDM 2.2 v tech and we broke another that is also JDM 2.2 both manual. The track car runs very well as is so didn't want to use the ECU out of this one just in case we want to go back after chipping. After removing ECU from track car it is different to the one we broke. Please could you advise further.
One on the left is from broken car and one on right is from track car. Will chip work in both ecu's? And should the ecu's both work in track car with only 3 connectors?

Have had car on rolling road and made 204 BHP so keen to get chip on and retest. More than happy to post result when we get it.
Any help appreciated!
