Ah, more posts before I hit submit!

H22 on a stand!
Got a spare in the garage as it is, maybe use it to power my washing machine or something, test it on that - VTEC that wash, 30 degrees no problem!

As for a spare UKDM, no good - plus I have a few of these now.

Reminds me, I still have a chipped P28 with a JDM basemap on it - anyone interested? :P

Merlin: The map that came with the ECU isn't Crome no, could be any number of other programs, but it can be changed to a Crome map if you wanted to find a tuner and use it to it's potential.

dbo: I'll be honest, it will make power but the fuel map is Rich, your mpg will go down. I had it dyno'd on my car and picked up +6bhp. Wasn't right for the lower compression UKDM H22A2 though.

I leave the ECU footrest cover off now and just switched around ECU's for different things. Always threw this one in for RWYB's, track and fun time! But driving up to the likes of Santa Pod and I stuck the OEM one back in for better mpg.

All that to one side, each car is different and ultimately it is setup ready for someone to tune it with Crome, etc to your mods and engine. So I'd look at it as more of a tuning option for the future, but it's ready to go as is.

Had two people back out of a sale over the last month or so due to engines going and what not. I was after the same as they were going to buy it for = £100.

Let me know if anyone's interested. I should be doing a proper for sale thread I know, but I'll end up needing another 6 months to write an essay to go with it and never get rid of the damn thing!

just to update the ukdm ecu seems to want to stall at idle once engine is warmed up - ive been trying right foot heel and toe to keep the revs up but all ive managed so far is 2 stalls and 4 emergency stops

:( I wonder why it wants to stall. Dissapointing as we thought it was temporarily sorted. Hopefully you can get the new chip sorted as soon as.

Not sure on the UKDM ECU - I didn't realise you could use one TBH.

The 2nd chip was posted today next day special delivery.
