the 2 piece is designed to cope with the metal expansion contraction a one piece will expand and contract just as much as the 2 piece just at a little higher temp but once it starts it might expand more

The issue I had with the Fidanza was that it got too hot, expanded too much, and slackened the pressure plate bolts leading to flywheel / pressure plate separation. Forged steel is more resistant to heat. I ditched alloy wheel nuts for this reason too.

ive seen a shagged fudanza, it was bent and had signs of massive heat build up mainly around the bolt holes. Not sure how it had been treated though but it was enough to diswayed me from them
