mine exhaust splatted out black sh*t every time if someone was behind it - quite often cars in car parks were a smidge dirtier afterwards :hurr: either that or my garage door gets the brunt  like a bloody oil slick

just a thought but you say Bosch spark plugs were fitted - that might be the issue ;)
i would get some NGK Platinums fitted and see how it runs...

Hi Nick. Really? Funny you say that as they were NGK plugs that were in before. I'll see if I can get some later in the week. Ta. ;)

Im sure there have been some reports of poor performance when using Bosch spark plugs - NGK is 1st choice and Denso 2nd. These are the only two suppliers that Honda recommend. NGK Platinums are PZFR6-11 but double check that.

(Edit) Just checked on the NGK site: PZFR6F-11. Thanks Nick.

Yes H22's seem to run their best on simple OEM NGK plugs

If the new NGK plugs do not sort it there are other things to check such as ignition timing and all the sensors that allow the ECU to enrich fuelling, MAP, IAT, coolant temp etc....

Thanks guys for the info, much appreciated. Only bummer is that this week I'm really jammed with meetings and business blah, blah, blah therefore I do need the car. I've asked Jason to help me track down the plugs and the Lambda so hopefully, today or tomorrow, we should have them.
@Merlin you're spot on as Jason does want to give it a good going over and he did mention a couple of the things you've mentioned. Thanks.
