Paint help.

Good evening, am planning on painting my intercooler just looking for advice on what paints and best way?? Cheers.

just ordinary car body paint i would assume, and i wouldnt put a thick coat on might drop the efficiency

If ally then use etch primer followed by colour.

It is ally. Would that direct to metal hammerite not work?

You'd need to etch first, as you can't physically key the surface.
