timing belt and water pump for my BB4 H22A HELP PLEASE

Post by lewie fraser » Wed Feb 24, 2016 11:20 am

Bit of a long shot but before I go and order one online don't suppose anybody has any new belts and a waterpump for their bb4 lying around and wanting to get rid of?

Seems to be expencive for the bb4 timing belt online or maybe I am looking at the wrong ones.
A lot of the belts don't match the engine code of h22a

h22a2/5/7 are the same bud as are the water pumps.

i'd go OEM for the pump, gates for the belt (from a motor factor) and look at COX motor parts for the tensioner if going hydraulic or h-tune if you go h23 manual

Don't get the H23 manual tension from Htune, its is too expensive. There is a guy from Ireland on eBay that sells the kit (OEM parts) for ~£100.

Yes it will but personally I'd do as Phil suggested.

it's a T226 you need http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gates-Cambelt ... 51d2d01c8b

water pump, just go to Euro Car Parts or a local motor factors, should be between £20-40
