If you had £5000 to spend on your current lude
Hello luders,
If you had £5000 to spend (not that I have lol) do spend on your prelude what you do? Im sitting here on my lunch break bored shitless at work.
The rules are that the 5k needs to be spent based on as your car is now...
Mine could do with a bit of TLC and its done some decent mileage, a few parts could do with uprating/changing or an overhaul.
With the 5k budget I would (prices are average based on calculated guesses...)
- Replace the suspension with a fully adjustable kit - £500
- Get a performance stainless steel exhaust with a down pipe and decat- £750
- Purchase some Civic R alloys with some new rubber - lets say £600
- Buy an accord r single runner manifold and get that fitted - £300.
- Purchase a double sin Sat Nav headunit - £500
- Possibly get the rust taken out of the car and a small respray/touch ups - £500
- MP24 gearbox - £400 with fitting
- possibly some aggressive cams with fitting and get the valve clearances checked and a the head looked at -say £500
- Apexi Neo or some form of aftermarket ECU - say Hondata for arguments sake - £500
- Upgrade my ICE - £450
Theres £5k gone.... god it easy to spend imaginary money... lol
Who wants to go next....

MSA cage
You wont need an FIA one unless you are in a serious race series. For my race car I'd probably do the same, but it is a money pit so I could realistically spend multiple £5ks and still not be satisfied
