I certainly did, can't remember if I gave it away or not. I'll check Thurs, as will be at that garage again.Merlin wrote:Ha ha!! @indigolemon do you by any chance have a valve clearance jam nut tool? Steve though you might have one?

Yeah from 11ish onwards
If I get my gearbox back the engine will be going back in.

Re: Merlin's 4G Time Attack Lude
I got the gearbox back on Friday after it has its carbon lined synchros installed. It needs the retaining boilt for the shift selector replaced as it is worn, but that can be replaced from the exterior of the box. Honda has these on back order and it should be 2-3 weeks before I get one.
Indigolemon came over and gave me a hand doing the valve clearances. Just as well we did them as a few were all over the place. Some were overly tight, so tight we could not get the thinnest of the feeler gauges in there. All sorted now though, all the intake valves are set to 0.006" and the exhaust valves to 0.007"
After that me, Indigolemon, Vanzep and 3rd Gen Steve (Newkid stuck his head in for a while) got the clutch in and gear box on, while we were there we loctite'd all the flywheel/pressure plate/crank pulley bolts and torqued them up.

Pic of the engine about to go in. It was an easy install as there is nothing to get in the way
But as it stands then engine/gearbox is in, engine mounts done up but that is all. The last of the bits I need will be arriving this week and I hope to fire it up on Saturday.
