Prelude v DC5 R

Banter goes here, and doesn't have to be Lude related

Nitin does have a point - if something happened to my lude I would consider a DC5 too. Finding a decent lude is getting harder and harder these days.

@RattyMcClelland- What makes you prefer the Lude over the Teg?

I think so, too.
A JDM DC2 would be higher on my shopping list than a DC5.

The shape. Longer bonnet and lower profile body. Top of arch to bonnet is narrow. More old skool look. Still looks modern.
Better daily drive, better engine h22 ftw.

Best part of all. The prelude has all round double wishbone suspension. The teg does not.

Dc2 vs dc5 ......dc2 anyway because of the double wishbone suspension. It's far superior.

The accord cl7 wss the last of the wishbone suspension days. I'd have that over a dc5.

IMO, when comparing Prelude (Type-S) to DC5..

DC5 - Newer shape (less rust issues), K20 engine (newer and more tuneable), more after market parts available, holds value better as its a Type-R, 6 Speed for better MPG,

Prelude Type-S: Looks better with more coupe and lower body shape, better interior, cheaper,

Yep. Euro R vs. DC5 = no contest!

(Even if there is a kind of 'family' look to the front)

+1, an upgrade to me would be a CL7 Euro R, mate of mine has one in sexy blue, drove it when he bought it (i liked them before he bought it) and MAN did it drive mighty fine as well as look & sound the shizz. if my lude was wrapped around a tree or similar, id 100% get a CL7 instead over a DC5 8-)

i mean...

Are the CL7 Euro R's available in the UK market or are they an import.

Then again..... I'd take a cl1 over a cl7 anyday.
