Nothing to be suspicious of mate, it has appeared in a few threads here where it's been made apparent it's available for sale and anyone who might have wanted it would have been welcome to make contact. Most people here have a Prelude though, and in order to see the car away I'd probably be waiting a long time for a prospective buyer. eBay has a very large audience which means I'm likely to be able to get the car sold quickly, which is what I need to do right now. The other reason for choosing eBay is to allow the market to set the value, as it's hard to pin a price on the car otherwise - if I stick a price tag on it then I could miss several potential buyers just because they think my price is too far out from what they'd want to pay.Mort wrote:Hang one - bidding on ebay for ya maroon honda - why you haven't advertised it here ? Been outbid by someone with dodgy feedback - looks very suspiciously ?
RE the bidding, I can assure you there is nothing underhand going on - I purposely chose not to have a private auction in order to put people's minds at rest that there was no shill bidding occuring... If I had of wanted to tuck somebody up for the highest price possible I'd of just written a 5 line advert without mentioning the negative sides of the car, made it a private auction and bid it up - I'm sure anyone who has met me or dealt with me would reassure you that I'm an honest, principled person though and that this is not something which I would do

So just to clarify, nobody who has bid on the car is anyone that I know (apart from yourself by way of this thread

I do like ya sense of humourSo just to clarify, nobody who has bid on the car is anyone that I know (apart from yourself by way of this thread), whatever price it reaches is the price it goes for as I just need it out the way now. If it still doesn't sit right with you then all I can suggest is to not bid on it

??? all i found says about 8,7seconds 0-60 - but could be wrong - any source or testing it by yourself ?Despite being an automatic this is a very fast car, 0-60 is certainly under 7 seconds
Metioning couple and be silent about others is better strategy thought - seen it many timesI'd of just written a 5 line advert without mentioning the negative sides of the car

Please don't be offended
