I am going to try source the OEM part first via h-tune or vtec direct. If neither can get hold of them i will make my own like @clarelude23 has said. Fingers crossed for OEM though
According to the Lings Parts web site, 17228-P5P-J00 (TUBE B, AIR FLOW) was £64.65 but is no longer available. So have you had any luck in sourcing a replacement?

I did consider just using sealent but feels dirty.

I might get a plain / basic silicone tube with a bend in it. Check out:

As you know, we've got a few clips on the sides to hold pipes and stuff. I'll cut around those (performing a wide local excision if you understand surgical talk) and will stick them onto the new tube.

is it not possible to get the 45 or 60 degree hose with a tiny pipe going out of it from factory?
Im sure ive seen a civic type r or bmw hose that looks remarkably simmilar?
Also if just making extra outlet ourselves how would you secure the small pipe going off to engine?

Drill a small hole in the new hose and stick on the extra bit from the original hose. Leave a border around it of maybe 1 or 2 cm (wide local excision) so the glue has got something to bond too.BrokenSpring wrote:Also if just making extra outlet ourselves how would you secure the small pipe going off to engine?CARRisma wrote:I might get a plain / basic silicone tube with a bend in it. I've only had a brief look on eBay, I'm sure there will be plenty suitable to choose from. I'll be getting a black hose. I'll have a more detailed look either next week or the week after.BrokenSpring wrote:Ooohhh sounds sexyCARRisma wrote:Drill a small hole in the new hose and stick on the extra bit from the original hose. I've made some measurements. The inside diameter of the hose needs top be 72mm at the throttle body and 79mm at the other end (dynamic chamber end). This might complicate matters. I dunno how stretchy these silicone hoses are.
Honda-Hardy used 76mm diameter which worked for him.
