4th gen auto box

need a box for the pickup if anybody got one preferably within a 50 mile radius of newport south wales but will travel if i really really have to, couriers are for girls

i dont know if the 5th gen is the same but im sure somebody does so any advise welcome too.
p.s. my mrs reckons i have short arms and deep pockets

I'd stick to 4G boxes, the 5G ones are made of chocolate and string. Rover 600 (petrol) auto should have the same box btw

the 2.3 one is the H23 engine.

you see, you should have swapped mine over, then you could have had a free low milage one, along with a load of skimed knuckles

i agree and i wish i had now or on the other hand if you had swapped it you could have sold me your auto box.

as it is now i have that thing all these S type people rave on about ATTS

although that aside, it wouldnt have been a quick job, what with peddal boxes and manual shifter and the like, then there would have been the ecu, mine jdm and yours on bag o bum droppings uk

dont buy from ebay, for some reason they are more expensive than manuals?

ok folks take it from him, vtec in reverse is not a good idea
