Don't expect any power gains, but as said - its a fine for OEM replacement.

I would have thought they would be different unless it's the H22A engine, which AFAIK is the only common engine between the two generations? No doubt someone will come along and let you know for sure though.
Merlin is the wizard you need to talk to about exhausts, he seems to know loads about JDM, UKDM, A5 & A8 compatibility etc.

I've had a bad experience, the supporting bracket snapped within weeks and needed repair, it lasted for about 3 years total, after plenty of ongoing repairs, and by the end it had crumbled and rotted to nothing. Yes it was stainless, but they still rot, and heat wrapping them means that water sits on it and accelerates the corrosion. There are pics in my project thread in my signature somewhere.
OK for a temporary stop gap, but nothing more.

Unless it's a UKDM 4th gen which is slightly smaller diameter design to the JDM's.
Most ebay copies out there are the old DC sports design copies, which will see a small gain over the OEM on UKDM's. But generally are cheaper than buying a replacement if you have a leak or broken flexy. Some have problems with the bracket as mentioned, others have found the welds to be weak and crack over time.
If you're really after power gains, you need to spend some more dough I'm afraid. My first port of call would be Alan at Solid Fabs to make you a custom one. There are nice brands out there like Fujitsubo, Mugen, Tanabe, etc, but finding one and the cost means Alan would be the best bet personally. I know I have one, he's got the skills!
Cheers,
Rob
