Will's 4g is having what can only be described as "lumpy" acceleration, maybe slight hesitence.
9 months ago, the fuel filter (plus oil and oil filter) was changed, and i changed the fuel rail and injectors a few days ago.
the valve clearences were also done 9 months ago.
his distributor died recently, so he has my good working spare which also fixed an ELD warning problem.
ive checked and cleaned his IACV, FIAV, EGR. Ive also checked his spark plugs, and they seem ok.
njord and i checked his timing with a timing gun recently too.
i have also changed his VSS a few days ago as his dials were going a bit off the rockers, they seem more stable now but
his dials say vtec is kicking in at 4k... i suspect this is his TPS as an error code pops up for it, but ive also
changed the TPS the other evening for a working spare i have.
im more stumped at the moment on the acceleration problem. its nothing much, as the car sure goes quick and vtec kicks in very very well!
any suggestions are welcome.
thanks

I might be completely off the topic here mate but I had lumpy acceleration a while back, then over time ended up resulting the engine cutting out. Turned out to be a faulty ignition switch.
I came before the chicken.. The argument is now settled!!
