Have a read of this:

It shows what each kit contains and where each item goes ;) I made it when I did my polybushing.

Ah great stuff Merlin that has really helped me out.

The Master Kit actually seems like a great deal I might just go for that rather that messing about. Although the kit is shown for the 4th Gen only any ideas on what parts are different on the 5th Gen?

I dont know exactly. I like to think that its all the same. I know 4th and 5th gens have different upper arms but I would think the bushes would be the same. 4th and 5th gens share the same toe arm/4ws steering arm bushes so that gives hope.

There is one way to find out, go on each of the items webpage and click the "This fits" tab. It will tell you what other vehicles it fits.

But to be sure I would (before you flash the cash) go on Preludepower or another US forum and ask what master Kit Base Prelude's use.

SiR Si did you get anywhere with this? I have clunk from my front right and after speaking to Vanzep he says it sounds the same as when his lower arm bush was fooked :( So it looks like I'll be polybushing my 5th this summer  I'll be buying the 92-96 master kit.

I have the bushes through from the states, took ages to get here due to a shipping issue, but have them now anyway. Not had a chance to fit yet but intend to over the next couple of weeks.

I'll let you know how I get on :)

Ok a bit more digging. Yes you can use the 92-96 master kit but apparently.....

I'll find out the part numbers needed for the 5G. The 5G has different front upper arms than the 4G, the upper arms are thicker. I didnt think that this would effect the bushes though :?

SiR Si did you get the trailing arm kit as well?

Yeah I've taken a punt on the 5gen upper arm bushes being the same or close to a 4th gen. i needed the lower control arm bush that comes with that part of the kit, so I am going to try an fit and see what happens. I'll let you know how I get on with it.

I didn't get trailing arms....

I am wondering if the Type-SH bushes are the ones to use for the front upper arms :? Thats if the 4G ones dont fit. Do you have the time to have the car off the road if they dont fit?

The 4th gen front upper control arm bushes are totally different from the 5th gen and will not fit.
The Type SH upper control arm bushes are correct for "our" non SH 5th gen upper control arms but the front lower control arm bushes are wrong (unless you have a Type S in which case they are correct)

Basically the 4th gen bushes will fit in every location on a non Type-S 5th gen except for the the front UCA
