Cleaning tips.

Post by ek9sid » Mon Sep 12, 2016 6:06 pm

Hi guys.

Now I'm looking at giving the lude a proper clean this weekend (usually just give it a sponge and rinse) and was wondering what people would advise.

Was thinking about trying the clay bar thing. Is this a good idea? Any prep work required for it? Anything else I should be looking at doing whilst I'm at the cleaning? At the moment I'm looking at rinse, sponge, rinse, clay and then wax. Is this correct?

Apologies about the questions but all I've ever done when cleaning is wash and rinse and wax.

Tia

What brands do you recommend? Snow foam? Do I need a new machine for that?

And there was me with my turtle wax/wash in hot water, hosed down with cold water and leather chamois to dry... Some tyre shine for desert.... Lol

Clay is amazing...leaves an amazing finish and that carnuba wax for the wet look... Never applied myself tho, had ppl do it for me.
