M2B4 Gearbox oil
Hi Guys
Which is the best oil to use for the lsd box, Amsoil or Honda Mtf?
Also where the best place I can get it for a reasonable price? Is there a specific type of oil I need to order, ie do they different viscousities?

Use Honda MTF3 or Torco MTF. Amsoil MTF now seems impossible to get hold of.
I can get 1L bottles of Honda MTF3 from my dealer. You can get them on eBay as well. For example http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/honda-mtf-3-m ... SwF1dUTR00
You can get Torco from Nimbus Motorsport.

Yes it will but it should be used as a temporary solution. Engine oil is designed to deal with products of combustion and has a relatively short life. Transmission fluid is built to deal with a different set of problems.
The M2B4 is a viscous diff (a fluid coupler). All the diff needs is a fluid at the correct viscosity to work properly. Its simplicity is both its biggest benefit and its greatest drawback.
