well it had to fail sometime
First time in 15 years of my ownership.
Vehicle makeHONDA Vehicle modelPRELUDE Date first used1 August 1992 Fuel typePetrol ColourRed
MOT history of this vehicle
Test date12 October 2016 Test ResultFail Odometer reading188,944 miles MOT test number4103 7512 0283 Reason(s) for failure
Parking brake: efficiency below requirements (3.7.B.7)
offside rear parking brake recording little or no effort (3.7.B.6a)
Exhaust has a major leak of exhaust gases (7.1.2) put down to hole in mid section of exhaust(I thought imports could not be failed on emissions?
Advisory notice item(s)
front Anti-roll bar linkage has slight play in a pin/bush both (2.4.G.2)
I keep leaving a note that it records in KM's do they read my notes NO
Still booked in next week for the exhaust to be patched and a new rear caliper(£80) so the total bill should not be to bad.
Anyway a good run for 15 years of passes!

I have kleptomania,
But when it gets bad,
I take something for it.

I thought it was a certain model of 4g that could pass emissions without cat (possibly bb4) as the chassis code wasn't available in UK form. But...yours would still have failed as there is a hole in the pipe. Apparently the design of the exhaust system is to extract the fumes away from the engine avoiding the cabin
