New 5th gen owners...
Hey boys & girls me & the mrs just got outselves a 5th gen Prelude, sadly not the VTEC but was tempted then relized that we were meant to be buying something a bit more practical to justifi my other car an RX7 (which as most know, drink fuel, heavly!) anyway so we have a 97 black manual 2.0lt. Picking her up tomor morning so i'll get some pictures up asap, as I know we all wanna see a picture of the ride! She's stock for now but plan is to get a nice overal look, low ride height, some nicely tucked 17's or 16's & a few minor styling mods anyway look forward to getting envolved with you lot, James

Welcome to the site James, look forward to seeing the pics when you get them
VTEC or not, it's the handling that makes Preludes fun. Really chuckable cars, sure you'll both love it!

Cheers for the warm welcome guys!
Oh question does the 2.0lt prelude i have the 4ws?? Sure it doesn't but there is some funky set up on the rear suspension, or is does it have a double wishbone on the rear as well as the front??

No 4WS, but you will have double wishbone suspension all round yup.

It basically means the handling should be pretty awesome, as each wheel has it's own independant suspension setup with a good degree of movement in it. I can understand it not being desirable for drifting, but for basic hooning around it's considered one of the best choices.

Are you taking about the HIACs or what ever it is? The Nissan version of 4 wheel steering?James H wrote:Sorry to sound naive but whats the gain from having this, my mate had it on his Skyline & got shot off it but that was due to it being a drift car??double wishbone suspension
I'm not 100% on 5th Gens but normally the 2L versions of preludes don't have 4ws
