Lots of electronics and lots of technical gremlins. That's why they were unloved.. Turbo Lag is bad too... On a rolling start my old type s would beat my mates standard twin turbo... It took too long to spool up.. Off the lights he would always win. And thirsty... Supra is your best bet if your looking TT.

My mate had one. He's a mechanic and it was always standing on his driveway. One day it was fine and next engine didn't start. He spend a lot of time and money on this car and at the end of the day it went to scrapyard. Never found why it wouldn't start up

I think your mates was broken ( exhaust manifold leak is common and causes this)one thing they don't have is lag there boost threshold is 2150rpm and they come on boost instantly after that as said though the gearboxs if it's the 6 speed are garbage if it's the 5 speed there not too bad, there main flaw is the cooling system is notorious for finding places to leak. active aero is rather pointless I'd just leave it unoperational if it's not working but the active suspension is awesome but the elast electronic gremlins mean it's hard to get or keep workingRudelude wrote:Lots of electronics and lots of technical gremlins.
