Is it the tank itself thats leaking or one of the fuel lines?

I do have a spare fuel tank in East Lothian if you cant find one closer to home. :)

i had a fuel leak turned out it was just a corroded pipe easy fix just sleeved it with some rubber hose
success is the ability to go from one failure to the next without any loss of enthusiasm :D :D

I had a pipe leak a couple of years ago that was easily fixed by replacing with hose ... ended up replacing the whole lines along the bottom of the car.

But then my tank sprung a couple of leaks too (once it goes in one place, seems it's ready to go elsewhere too), up above where it was easy to access. Made damn sure I treated and painted the "new" one well before replacing - it should outlast the car now. :)

If replacing the tank, check the condition of the metal retaining "straps" too, because they're prime candidates for corrosion.
