Cheers guys. Looking like this month we spend on the surf for another year and then i get the lude on the road, put it up for 4.5k and drive it till it goes. I cant let it go for less, its a part of me. That way i save some on fuel, get to enjoy spring in a nice motor and get it for sale all at the same time. I cant just let it go for 3.5k. Its just not worth it for me. Ill keep it till its worth sending to the states if thats the case..

I would the keep the price up, these cars are rare and to the right buyer it will be worth every penny. Plus, every buyer always tries to negotiate on price.

As Craig_85 said, given the exchange rate it would cost at least £5-6K to even import a decent one now so anything in that price bracket or slightly under is good value for a good cared for example in the U.K.
Exchange rate just to buy in Japan right now is nearer 10k for a mint S Spec or Type S. That is before shipping etc!

Then we had a guy here the other day sell an S Spec for 3k!

It's crazy! I saw on here that S Spec that sold for 3k, very cheap indeed. Did someone on here buy her?

I think UK prices have to reflect what the cars are worth in Japan, taking into consideration what someone is willing to pay. I've seen clean DC2's and EK9's going for £8-10k, even ATR's seem to be on the rise. In the past, i don't think it's ever helped Prelude prices that there was never an official 'R', as it would often get overlooked. IMO, Type S and S Spec prices shouldn't be that far off the cars I previously mentioned. They are worth their salt in the rest of the world. As somebody else said earlier on in this thread, these car values will increase further once the USA has access to them at 25 years old. Can't believe my Lude turns 20 this September!!

I have one, but like all things it is infinitely divisible therefore I have many. That's the value. An infinite source of magic beans. It might sound a bit recursive but after all wealth is just the movement of numbers. If you have 10 beans and John-boy has 1, you have financial supremacy. Here's the cherry though: they're invisible so no worry of theft.

So one invisible magic bean. Sounds like a freaking deal mate! Now, if you can get it verified via the oz wizarding council and certified ripe I'll send the car right over. Are you sure though? I don't want to rob you......

Stick to your guns, pricewise, I did with my 3g and was quite surprised how much I eventually got for it.
