Suspension 5th Gen

Post by Max » Thu Apr 20, 2017 9:56 pm

Hi All,

Looking for some suspension for my type s, preferably something like Koni, Bilstein etc with lowering springs, or will also consider some coilovers like Meister R, Tein, BC Racing etc

At the rate my little restoration is coming along im going to need them in the next month, I have spoken to some members but few are getting back to me.

Let me know what you got :)

Cheers
Max

You can get some Eibach lowering spring brand new for aeojmr £120-150, compared to a second hand coilovers (£300) and brand new ones (£500+). Keep it in mind

I am considering this as its a very cheap and easy option, when i got the car it was turning well but feeling a bit soft, floaty and a little un-composed overall, some of this could be down to the worn bushings which im soon to replace but im worried the shocks are knackered. I'll most likely strip them down and check the rebound soon but if its no good im definitely going to need some replacements.

Ideally though i want some shocks designed to use a lowering spring :)
