When my alternator packed up on the trackcar, it tripped out the 4ws.
1 of the 4ws error reasons is the Alternator

Only pushing out 11.9v when engine running.

I drove with my one knackered. Your allright untill your speedo and rev counters die, after that you only have 5-10 minutes of juice left before the engine misfires and dies completely.

At least its your alternator its an easy swap i would rather that than 4ws or abs problems

Well, I've got to replace the alternator and see if it makes the other lights go out first!!
