type S intake

Hello guys and gals. What's the difference between a standard one and a type S? Do they look any different? Thanks all for your time

If you have a 2.2v Prelude, the Type S intake will enhance throttle response at low and mid rpms and maybe a little gain in power coupled together with a k&n air filter or a piper cross filter.

I've heard they are also way better on a dyno over any after market intake.

Something to do with the dynamic chamber it has I believe.

Got one for a sale bud if your interested in taking purchasing one.

UK models with the A8 engine have the type S intake, paired with a slightly larger throttle body.

All 4G, 5G Automatic 2.2 and JDM 5G SiR (Auto and Manual) had this intake -

This is the best one with dynamic chamber which is why the output of the BHP is more then others.
