Re: If you were Head of Design on your series Prelude...
I drove my friends Integra type r before and during a track day. He drove my lude. We both agreed the ITR (dc5) wasn't as enjoyable as a day to day car because it's just too racey. Too loud, too fast to enjoy...
All the calls to make the prelude type r are just crazy. You want a very sporty very fast honda , get an ITR, it's 20% 'more' everything than the lude (louder, faster, raw, lighter etc) The lude is supposed to be more refined, more gentle.
If anything, I would have liked on the 5th gen an engine with more torque, and perhaps a slightly revised looking front end (not that I don't like it).
Selling models without spoiler is a crime also, and it would be nice if the front indicators weren't so sunken into the bumper.
Otherwise, despite slightly bland/timeless Japanese non-styling (as I call it) I really like the 2.2vti (I've had the 185 and 200ps models).

i would have to say the 4th gen should of had the legend v6 with vtec and a manual box , twin exhausts as in one left one right , four pot brembos upfront , some illumination on the window and mirror switches and of course better rust prevention

success is the ability to go from one failure to the next without any loss of enthusiasm

Only thing I would change on the 5th would be pillar less doors. Apart from all the aftermarket bits I’ve bolted on ![JOY [FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY]](./images/smilies/gandalf.gif)
