My hood/bonnet insulation has seen better days and I would like to replace it with a good condition one. It looks like someone has torn parts off it in the past, who knows why.
The part I am talking about is the insulation attached to the underside of the bonnet which becomes visible upon opening the bonnet.
Thanks
Mike

Hood/Bonnet insulation
Thanks both. Happy not to have it there but am worried about it getting too hot under there without it and ruining the paint??

Hood/Bonnet insulation
It wont ruin the paint. Paid bubbles around 150deg c.
The rocker cover won't get above 90deg c. Indirect heat from the zorst is around the same.
