Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!

Post by Crazy_C » Mon May 07, 2012 1:52 pm

Went out to the car this morning, and I had a bird crap right on the edge of the hood and the light. Of course, only a few people on here will realise straight away what that means.

I have pop up lights..................... so the bird poop had not only hit the hood, and the top of the light, it had gone in the gap, splattered all over the side of the light, ricochetted up and hit the light lens, what a mess one bird crap can make!!! Spent 20 minutes trying to clean it all off.

Lesson learnt - never park with the front end of the car under the tree if you have pop up lights!

Easily sorted, just put the hood in the washing machine, full wash at 40 degrees with your preferred detergent and softener. Tumble drying is optional but Prefer hanging it outside to dry on a nice day like this

I had the same thing the other day.
It hit the hood, slid down the fender onto the tire and rim and ended up on the sidewalk.

I blame the flock of Canadian Geese that flew over. :poke:

Screw you guys!! I've been saying "hood" and "trunk" for as long as I can remember, it's not just cos I've been over the other side of the pond for a while

And actually, "hood" and "trunk" are the correct terms, one thing the Americans actually have right (other than their price of fuel! )

Pushki you sarcy muffin! I'll set all the Canadian geese on your motor if you don't watch out! Or I'll just poop on your car and blame it on the Canadian geese

Would that be the automotive equivalent of a Cleveland steamer?

I guess it would be.

Car scat!

What's the bet that Nitin's too innocent to know "Cleveland steamer" or "scat"
