Cambelt Change
Hello
So, day 1 of cambelt change today. Generally gone fine - those crank pulley bolts are jolly tight, aren't they? Got the fecker off in the end though, and only broke one half-inch extension.
Quick question. I missed the point about not removing the metal pipe from the top of the power steering pump. Does that mean I'll have air in the system now, so need to bleed it? If so, how?
Cheers all

Bleeding the power steering is easy - just take the top off the reservoir, start the car and turn from lock to lock a few times, top up ps fluid and cap back on. You can normally hear a change in the sound from the ps pump as it smooths out and expels air out the system and it should go from lock to lock smoothly without any notchyiness.
Crank bolts are the tightest bolt on the car i think - we had much fun yesterday loosening the one on newkids H22 torneo

Thanks buddy that's ace. Does it have to be genuine Honda fluid? I've read that's the case but unsure.
The crank pulley was tight as [removed on legal advice] - ended up standing on the 3 foot breaker after PlusGas and blowtorch action.

I have always used Honda Power Steering Fluid as i was told using anything else can cause issues
Good luck with tightening the crank bolt back up - no need for a torque wrench just use same tools & force as you needed to take it off
