Wanted: 5th gen Manual

Hi guys! So as this is my first post I should probably introduce myself. I'm Chris, and despite coming from the classic car scene and owning a Classic Mini as my weekend show car, I have always loved Jap cars and fancied a 5th gen Prelude as a daily. I figured now is a good time to take the plunge, so here I am! I am specifically after a 5th gen Manual. my budget can stretch to about 2500 if that will get me a car with no rust. I have scoured the interweb and only found one car that interests me, but it's very far away, so just thought it was worth joining up here to see whats available. Any help would be much appreciated!

That's not a bad budget to be honest. This one is a bit above budget, but if you bide your time you might be able to get it for £3k or less, looks in very good condition - https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1124542

Thanks! I did spot that one but thought it was a bit pricey, although it is a lovely car. I know it's being sold by a forum member, so if they see this, I would be rather interested at 3k!

Yes its mine and no offence taken!

Sold my red Motegi for a bit more than £3k and this one is in better nick all round, especially the paintwork. Have a boot leak problem at moment which I will sort.

Happy to sell on here for £3750.00. though it might be a bit of a stretch financially, this car wants for nothing.

Hi Pete, it really is a lovely looking car, and thanks for the offer! But it really is too far out of my budget I'm afraid. If I borrowed a bit of cash from my parents then I could maybe stretch to 3k but thats the best I can do really! Good luck with the sale though
