5th Gen breaking

It kills me to do this, but after 3 engine swaps and a recurring problem causing it, it's time to break my prelude.

So it's a 1997 R reg, H22a5 with a H22a8 (M2P4) gearbox, ecu, intake mani with 62mm throttle body etc.

Bottom end is knackered due to the oil pump failing again, but the head is good. The engine has had lots of work carried out by Matt at Red R Performance, and has only done about 1k miles since I got it back.

I'm based in Birmingham for collection of anything, but large items I would prefer collection, smaller stuff I can post no problem

I have already started removing parts, and a couple of things are provisionally sold already to members on here who have posted in the wanted forum. These include the full motegi kit, and the carbon effect interior parts, possibly headlights

Parts removed and for sale are as follow -

Full set of seats (half leather)

JDM floor mats (grey)

Alloy wheels x4 sets. I'm keeping 2, selling 2, need to decide which. But I've got a set of accord pentas, type S, rotas, and advans

Suspension x2 sets. Again, need to decide which I'm selling, but got a set of Honda Access shocks with tein lowering springs, and a set of tein coilovers

JDM front fog lights with complete loom, switch, relay. Ready to go straight in, no work involved

JDM rear bumper in black

Honeycombe grill with Prelude badge

Full carbon fibre induction kit comprising of piper Cross viper cone filter, and a rare carbon fibre pipe

Couple of mint cam covers, keeping 1, selling 1, need to decide which I'm keeping

JDM front upper strut brace

Rear upper strut brace, don't know brand but quite heavy duty

Magnecor KV85 red ignition leads

Chrome exhaust tips for standard backbox

Mugen pedal covers

Silicone rad hoses.

Yeah it is a shame but I can't keep plowing money into it for it to break again. The car has had 4 engines now

I've still got the Pedals, the accelerator pedal is still brand new, never got round to fitting that. The other 2 are on the car but haven't been on very long and seen very little miles.

The leads have already gone.

Someone is interested in the cam cover, but I haven't decided which I'm keeping yet I'll let you know if as soon as I know more

The wheels are for sale bud. I've been sitting on them for a long time. They sprayed with ecid etch primer at the moment ready for refurb. I'll get some pics up soon
