Hi guys,
So this is a wierd problem that has just started this evening. I've just driven from Essex back to my home in Hull, parked, locked the car, and got me inside. Obviously I got the usual 4 flashes as it locks, but I've just looked out the window to see the hazards flashing for no reason! I've been watching for a while, it seems to be ok for a few minutes, then flash about 9 or 10 times, then stop, and this process repeats... What the hell? I've checked all the doors, boot, sunroof, etc. The car does have an aftermarket immobilizer fitted, could this be the culprit? Please help!
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

Hazards do not flash when you lock/unlock.
Sounds like an aftermarket alarm (or Honda added one) playing up, someone probably already disabled the sounder or horn link. Find it and surgically remove all parts of it.
Either that, or perhaps the hazard switch is acting up, but very unlikely...

Mine does this and I know its to do with the crappy aftermarket alarm. Like Scott560 mentioned, whoever had mine before disconnected the siren.

pulled out the last of the wiring last week - wires stripped right up to the multiplugs, no soldering, no wonder stuff starts playing up years down the line. Get under the dash and rip it all out
