Hi. I want to make a thread about modding the airintake since i realised how much the stock Airbox restrict my built engine. In fact i noticed my pressure drop from 998mbar at already 3000rpm to peakpower minimum of 930mbar on 7000rpm. While after logging i can cleary see my peak power rpm is to low, theres no need to push the cams further while the ECU stops reading on the correct tables because the map sensor makes it think i give less then WOT.
My setup: H22 crower 2 cams, 12,5:1 and full 2,5 exhaust, R Head, IM, 70mm TB.
998mbar on low RPM WOT.
Stock Airbox, K&N Filter -> 933 mbar WOT 7k rpm
cheap Air Intake 960 mbar WOT 7k rpm
no filter -> test soon
Lets carry together what aftermarket parts are availibe and if possible even test them.. (datalog on chipped ecu)

I'd be interested to see how an S2000 paper filter flows. Was the go to filter when I was into 20v turbo VWs.

If you have a log from any WOT acceleration low rpm to limiter, that would be helpful. What intake are you running? What other essential mods?
@km666 I cant test the S2k Filter because I cant install it on my car. Its huge!
@ratty iam running stock BB1 Box with K&N and alloy pipe
Does anybody have a clue where to get Type S Intake or ATR? What money do they go for?
at the moment i think about a china 50 dollar whalepenis and test it. Then Box it. The best is if it looks original since in germany everything is illegal.

Type S Intake - they come up from time to time here or on FB Honda parts for sale threads, sometimes breakers on ebay. ATR intake, you should be able to find one of these a bit easier, not sure how much gain they are but probably better than stock lude - if they fit as well, not sure there. im sure if seen a few threads in the past mentioning the whalepenis intake are not very good for a lude, but dont quote me on that.
