Well, I've been thinking that it is something that needs to be done again, and there's no time like the present.
Unless anyone is into quarantining, seems like no one is going abroad on holiday this year, I thought a trip up to Scotland would be pretty amazing, fairly cheap and accessible. I spent a week last year up there and the scenery is among the most amazing that I've ever driven through. While up there I kept seeing signs for the NC500...........
The NC seems to start and end in Inverness, so Loch Ness is in the mix too.

I'm definitely doing it this year, probably before September, but I am open to when and a convoy of Ludes is a wonderful thing..............
The 500 looks like its an enjoyable 2 day drive (13 hours driving), covering 500 miles and taking in some amazing natural and man made landscapes. I figure some of us would take a good run just to get to Inverness, some of us are there already.
I'd be looking at:
Day 1 drive to Inverness - 8 hours for me (plus stops) (might make it 2 days to take some sights in)
Day 2 & 3 NC 500
Day 4 Fort William, Edinburgh or something?
Day 5 Head home
