lol.......at least you have resigned yourself to the reality of the situation! I'm sure you'll have a good time, Edinburgh is nice. If you get time go to Camera Obscura (near the Castle)...it's great fun!

Oh, didn't know there was one there. Theres a Camera Obscura on the Island but I've never been (its only open a few months of the year

Its on the right hand side of the Royal Mile, just before you get to the castle. Lots of stuff to do as well as the camera thingumyjig...like taking photos of your shadow on a huge white screen (leaving rude shadow pictures for the next person to see is entirely optional but give you will be there with a harem of women it would be a wasted opportunity not to. There's all sorts of weird and wonderful optical illusion things too as well as history of photography.

I'm not on commission from the place, just think it's a great way to spend a day!
