what i did when i lost my fuel cap was.... i went to the local petrol station and asked if they had any petrol caps handed in as i filled up yesterday and must have forgot to put it back on.
most will have one or two handed in, try them.
sainsburys in chippenham had a whole carrier bag full that had atleast 20 in, i found one that said honda and everything. happy times.
