Soo close but failed several time so gave up :( going to get my blow torch out next and bend the dam thing in to place :lol:

Has any one done the strut conversion ? any pics?

Hey mate.

I regretfully deleted my bars a couple of months back. By the looks of it, 20cm struts (closed) will be perfect. The EH9 Civic ones look a good match.

Someone said they would post pics and they never did.

Whats the problem?
If you cant get it back in the ONLY way i managed was to climb into the boot and lie on your side and push it up until you bleed. It should pop in.

I was I the boot up to that point :lol:, cable tied my big screwdriver into place so could get my jack under as the other bar stops the screwdriver moving any more :evil:, pushed it up with the jack above the shock but kept pinging screwdriver out and breaking my cable tires :(

A nice big bolt close jubilee clip round the rod and what ever you were stringing cableties to and get the torque of a ratchet spanner on it. sorted ;)

We that didn't last long, heard some rattling noise in the boot earlier on inspection the torsion bar had snapped :evil: :evil:
