try sticking a jack under the ball joint then hitting it with 2 hammers

What actually jack up the stud? Or the wishbone? I can't believe how stubborn these are compared to the tie rod ends lol

the stud.if you plan on reusing the ball joint i would out the nut on the end of it first. spray it with wd40 aswell!

I used my screw type/ scissor ball joint splitter, but in that vid he steps on the top of the hub assembly and uses his body weight to force them apart......

was too lazy to go back outside and do it though

so will give it a bash tomorrow and see how it works out.

Got 2 days off work this week so really want to get cracking with the engine swap, I've been putting it off too long!
