Braided Brake Hose Lines..

Post by 4th Gen Doug » Thu May 24, 2012 8:43 pm

Firstly, thanks for all the help on the brake question yesterday chaps!
I now have an idea of what I need to do to get the car to stop when I want it to, and not when a truck forces me to! :D

As I thought I could do a cheeky little upgrade while I'm dicking about with the brakes, I was looking around for some braided lines and found these..

Are these bad boys any good, or should I steer well clear and get them elsewhere?
Also, what sort of price should I be looking at? They vary wildly!

Thanks again
Doug

goodridge are good, personally i would steer away from HEL as i have seen on fail and heard of others!

the prices vary because some of the ends are zinc plated others arent, personally i wouldn't bother with the zinc ones, mine arent and they are fine, this is in my opinion though!

I've had goodridge hoses for years. Never had a problem with them.

Whatever kit you decide to buy (I use Goodridge on the 5th & HEL on the 4th) make sure you get the Stainless connectors ;)
