yes thats the igniter pack - if you have an overhaul kit then it sounds like you have got it covered

You can get the sensor pack, but your still better off getting a complete dizzy anyway.

Yes it’s the top right inside, with an orange and a cream wires running to it, a new dizzy is my next move after the ecu as I guess all the wires in there could be bad too so eliminates that, I’m in east grinstead near Gatwick

That is the igniter pack - the cam position sensor is in the body of the distributor - if you take the rotor arm and dust cap off then you will see it underneath. little black oblong box

If you have a spark at the inner coil - then the problem is with the distribution or HT leads?
If you have a new cap and arm, and the spring is installed correctly (eg not fallen onto the floor) , then there shouldn't be anything amiss (no pun intended).
I'm sure you've looked at pictures online - it's not that the distributor is installed incorrectly? I know it turns (to adjust the static timing), but someone could have put it back in wrong?
I'm pretty sure the rotor arm is keyed on the 5th gen so it cannot be installed incorrectly, I expect a 4th gen to be similar/same.
What is the story on the car and what state did it get to you in? Personally I would remove anything and everything to do with an aftermarket alarm, generally the first job on any old Honda lol.
I don't know if the innards are the same of a 5th gen distributor, but I have a spare one in unknown condition - the pickups maybe the same...
