Peachys red 4th gen.

Post by Peachy » Wed Jun 06, 2012 11:46 pm

I have a red 4th generation 2.3 automatic dohc...

Brought it in jan this year and have done a few bits and bobs too it. Only had 97k on the clock from 1996!!
Paid £900 which was overpriced for it, but as we all know with our first ludes as dbo said today, we fall tottally in love with em!! lol

Have put on a new spoiler which i have sprayed red but tbf not sure about it [last pic i have uploaded-black before i sprayed it] :?:

Brought some gold 18inch alloys off Dbo along with rear lexus lights, which he had on his old 2.3 lude. Also i brought some mangelor racing spark plug leads, which have made a biff off difference.
Got a Cold air intake airfilter cone [k&n], along with a new performance backbox, which sounds terrific!!!
Brought a body kit which will go on once i have the funds to get it put on and sprayed.
A few graphics on the car but nothing too over the top-needs a good polish though, and i just prey it aint going to turn pink in the next few years

As for inside the car, i have a 1000watt subwoofer and amp. A Nice JVC headunit which i got hod off for £65.

Needs a bit of work done to it still, but other than that very happy with it indeed

Anyway heres a few pics off my lover.....haha

I reckon a saloon would pull it off better, the prelude's sleek curves suit something a bit more subtle. I've been scouring the web recently for a spoiler that's a bit different, but tbh I think Honda nailed it with the OEM one!

Nice looking car though buddy, it's a Honda so you should get many painless miles out of it so long as it's looked after :)

yeah ;) piccy's at last m8 :D

as said the spoiler does look a little better in red, seems to tone it down a little :P
BristolBB4 has the spoiler you should have got a value sports type1 ;) never seen one on a Red lude but they really do look nice on a Phantom Grey Pearl or Black :)

a call to Knightmare!!!! Peacey took me for a spin yesterday and his 4ws light is on all the time :!: he was told by the muppet who sold it to him that it meant the 4ws was working (the git)
need your expertise for a little diagnostic m8, i do have spare 4ws ecu to try!!!

she is a nice drive and auto box very smooth, brings back memories of my first lude ;)
