Too much mate! Check out the piston speeds. Plus IIRC the H23 cranks aren't as well balanced so that'll need to be done to get anywhere near those RPM's. You might not make any power that high without some crazy cranks, big valves, head work, intake and exhaust.

i will be getting the crank balanced, either ITB's or my atr intake,have a full exhaust already and a head with big valves which is pnp'd with stage 3 n/a cams, i'd like 8k in reality with the option of 8.5k. 9k will be a little ott. see what the dyno says when it comes to it :lol:

8K on a 2.3 is reeaalllyy high. There's probably a piston speed calculator somewhere on'tinternet. I would definitely say stay below the H22's piston speed at 8K which we know is fairly safe with Mahle's lighweight pistons. But because the H23's stroke is longer the piston speed will probably be the same as a H22's but at maybe 7K?
