erm just a few tweeks

I added some stuff, 2.5" exhaust, 68mm TB, etc..

maybe 230? I dunno really, main thing is my cold idle needs sorting

hopefully get some nice pics on the way so I can finally start a profile :lol:

yeah I renewed the piston rings, so dont really want to open her up again

the car pulls strong, I'm happy.

any faster I doubt I'll have a license :lol:

Fair enough. I just keep thinking the low comp is hindering any other power upgrades I do and that bugs me a lot :lol:

Also, higher com = better mpg (how much is another story mind)

berrter mpg from a car that goes faster? not a chance :lol: your foot will way out weigh any mpg gains from the mod.

Yeah your probably right. I get 24 - 25mpg now after the work I had done whereas I was getting 26 - 27mpg before but it's developing an extra near 50bhp. If I drove it to it's previous old limit (5500rpm produces the same power a 7200rpm before) it probably would have better mpg but also that's not an increase in compression.

Higher comp gives a more efficient burn as the fuel in the cylinder is squeezed harder and there is a better thermal efficiency from the burn. As I said originally, how much gain is another story and as you said it will depend you how drive afterwards too ;)
