The basics are great, after a while you don't notice the bouncing so much :)

It feels so much more stable in the corners. So much so the Mrs noticed the car corners flatter with them fitted vs the stock suspension :o

She's a bit of a legend really, she knew I'd lowered the car twice through the springs and changing the wheels size :o :o

It gets better, got home from work yesterday; Her words 'OK I'll order some pizza, you go get the beers we'll watch the football then have sex' :o :o :o Amazing!

Oh absolutely! I haven't had any of that horrendous wheel hop when trying to pull away anymore, it's a much better driving experience all round :)

Sorry to insult your gf but can you take her pic down? It's hurting my eyes  And they are certiainly not blowjob teeth!

Cheers for taking it down :)

 it's all good, they'll get here in the end.

Gearbox, I have the M2V5 (I think thats the right code). The difference between that and the close ratio box in the later 5g's and I think the ATR is the final drive ratio is a about 4% longer.

So I figured, make the wheel circumference 4% small then I essentially have the close ratio box :D I'm thinking of chaning the final drive when I find out how much the work would cost. Found a box with a long 5th & close final drive giving me a better cruise mpg and better acceleration in the lower gears :)

I've got the uniroyal RS2's on the front at the mo, new on about 1500 miles ago. Good grip, but I'm not 100% with them on launch. Not sure if it's the roads around me but they seem to slip even if I don't try and pull off that agressively. The TTT's (temperature (A), tread wear (280) & traction ratings(AA)) are very good, identical to Conti SC2's. But it could be down to the engine work, tighter ratios & open diff...

Keep up the good work! :D

Did PAW install the ATR head or swap the components over into your a5 head?
