Fibreglass repairs

Post by Donald » Tue Jun 26, 2012 5:32 pm

Just a quick question...

How difficult/expensive is it to repair fibreglass? I have some genuine mystery sideskirts but the mounting bit at one end is slightly cracked.

Thanks!

These genuine mystery skirts will require p40 on the back and filler on the front painted face. Wink wink.

Ok so I have some Silver Motegi side skirts (No mysterious ones  )

This bit is cracked, to me it looks like an easy fix but what do you think:

And at the bottom of each side skirts there are three tabs. One of them is missing, as I think the previous owner just yanked it off and didn't bother to remove the screw/bolt so I'm missing the tab. You can just about see it in this pic (Red circle).

Nice one :) I got those ones I mentioned the other day but knocked him down a fair bit 8-)

When they actually get here I'll see if they got damaged any more, should be in England tomorrow... so far the tracking says they've been through Malaysia, Thailand, China, Japan, China (again), Kazakhstan and Germany :|
