In a 4th Gen 6x9 wont fit unless you get the OEM centre 6x9 sub to finish off the dsp.
6x9s are generally pap and made for the halfords market. No sound above 200hz should be comming from behind anyway unless its DSP surround. :geek:

im weighing up selling my car with what it would cost me then to buy a gearbox, the running gear, the 5stud hub swap, the time collecting it all together. petrol spent getting it. will i get what i want for my car?

or just breaking and selling the parts off.

i want to keep the atr brakes, and theyr 5 stud
i want to keep the brake lines i bought. why not? the hassle of buying it all again

and a total shame to break the car. makes me feel sick these cars are gettin proper rare. plus its got MOT and tax

but have you seen what they go for.
i might aswell cash in my tax tomorrow before i loose out a month what is that 20 quid a month on these cars?

thanks ratty

i did buy the 6x9s for my 5th before from halfords  just cause it was easier then waiting for some to turn up and risk them being rubbish

i dont know owt about sound systems. so i chose what had a better sound within my price range. :D :?

when you say the halfords market it makes me think of those horrible cheesy dynamic wheels :o
