RSOC day Castle Combe 7th July * VID ADDED*

Post by chrismc » Thu May 31, 2012 4:53 pm

Though this is essentially a Ford show/shine, track time is open to all makes & has always represented good value for money- track time is ~£130 for the day this year

The atmosphere & driving is generally very good & there is an excellent variety of track machinery about..I've never seen many Hondas though....

I'm about to book myself to give our 4th Gen it's track bow... :P

Be good to see some others there!!

YouTube vid link below including a grassy moment at Camp

Had a cracking day & car ran faultlessly- great in a straight-line, just a little weight to lose, & a slip diff box & sticky rubber to find :D

Lots of fun- but so dicey!

I was pretty impressed with the car given it is largely standard

Given time and money- an LSD box (with a shorter fd), beefier ARBs along with some track rubber & a bit more poke are on the shopping list!!

Merlin- cheers yeah it's a healthy H22 for sure
