Had time today to have a better look at my car, it is turning, but not firing. It took out the spark plugs and cleaned them, I also took the dizzy cap off and cleaned the points and rotor.
Still not starting, anyone know how the rotor comes off? I couldn't figure it put looking at it.

the rotor will have a screw on the shaft, you'll need to rotate the crank (anti-clockwise) until the screw is visible. The best way to do this is using a 19mm socket on the cambelt side, in the wheelarch (just turn the wheels full lock to gain access). Alternatively disconnect the dizzy connectors and flick the ignition until the screw becomes visible.
Can you hear the fuel pump prime and the main relay click?

I'll have a bash in the morning mate, cheers for that.
I checked that it was getting fuel yesterday, the pump primes, the fuse is ok, and the plugs smelt like fuel when it took them out today.

I've had 2 non starters like this over the years. One was coil inside dizzy and the other was main relay. Just out of interest when the main relay went I still thought I could smell fuel at the plugs. 3 hours to locate it under the dash and 5 minutes to re-flash the solder and it hasn't failed since.
I would definately check for spark first though.
